"Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles

This song was performed my the Beatles and was quite popular during the 1960s-1970s. If you listen to the lyrics in this song it tells us a story about people who are lonely. This message helps open our eyes to others and see that we are all going through something and at times those things can be hard or even heartbreaking. Elenore Rigby in this song, is not a real person. Some people who have grown up listening to this song have a hard time accepting this fact. Paul McCartney came up with the name because he was influenced by a particular tombstone in the graveyard that he used to hard out in when he was in his youth. When you go through the song you realize that the Beatles never mention how old Eleanor Rigby was but we do know she does seem to be struggling. In the lyrics it talks about how she picks up rice at a Church because a weeding took place there. This could mean that she was so poor to the point she couldn't even afford rice! She may have even been suffering with an metal illness! The narrative o this song is more depicted as Eleanor Rigby and Father McKenzie as lonely souls.
